How valuable is a coupon that gives you an ace as your first card? I got on of these coupons at the Grand Sierra at first I thought it was for a $5 bet but I looked at the coupon and it said maximum bet $25 so I asked the pit how much can I bet on this coupon and they said $25. They said I could bet from $5 to $25 so of course I bet the maximum $25 figuring I had a big advantage. The next card out of the shoe was a 10 for a blackjack! I think with that coupon I had a 40% advantage but I'm not a 100% sure on that.

They paid you for a BJ?
Any 1st card Ace I've ever seen only pays 1-1 on any win.

But there seem to be some new very good coupons popping up. I just saw a $25 MP that stated it was good until player loses a hand, and could be fully doubled on any two cards.

Does anyone know if any casino's in Australia have coupons?

I once saw a $10 free bet coupon, that was essentially free money. You bet it on bacarrat player, and bet $5 on banker, you can't possibly loose.

You decrease the value of the coupon by doing that, but you decrease variance by doing that.

Blackjack paid what the table pays for blackjacks!

Blackjacks on the table I was at paid 3 to 2 so I got paid 3 to 2 for my blackjack. What I had was not a match play coupon it was just a coupon to make my first card an ace. However that coupon might be almost as valuable as a matchplay coupon.

I won my coupon!

I was playing at the Grand Sierra aka the "Reno Hilton" and they had a place where I could slide my card and I would win a prize. I had a 100% chance to win some sort of a prize and one of my prizes was a coupon for an ace in the whole. The best thing that you can do to get coupons is to sign up for players cards and ask to be on the mailing list. Only a few casinos will send me stuff but the stuff that I get sent is usually good stuff. I have gotten coupons for free meals, match play coupons, ace coupons, and free hotel rooms. Although I don't usually use the coupons for free hotel rooms because I live close enough to the casinos.

Speaking of coupons...

I was recently at a casino that had a pretty neat promotion, every time you got a blackjack they gave you a couple pull tabs, kinda like lottery tickets. You could win anywhere from $1 to 5,000 with those, even though the best i got was $10. Still, i was up about $25 from those alone.
