Am I getting compulsive?

Have you thought about being snookered by the online casino. Pretty typical stuff. Large first time buy-in bonus, $2000 wagering requirement, letting you win big $1400 during this time and ending up where you started. Next time they will get you.
Being Asian myself if I thing I may be compulsive then I am probobly compulsive. Just look at the demographics. The prediliction of Asian to gamble can be compared to the western people's prediliction to drinking alcohol. Can't explain why this is so.

This reminds me of the time I used to rampage in online poker. Basically you find a place that lets you sit down with 1/5th of the what the max is. So you start with $5 at a $25 table. You play super aggressive and try to double up within the first 5 to 10 hands. When you double up you leave and go to the next table.

One time I got to $80 (where I usually stop at and start over) I couldn't believe how easy it was, so I went up again and again. Before I knew it I was at a $2,000 NL table with about $220 and I blew it all by going all in on AQ on the very first hand and lost to pocket 9's. oh well.

Quite frankly I think using a progression with their own money is extremely fun. However you did get suckered in. The best thing to do with free money, is to take a gamble on it. For example if you got a $100 bonus, take that hundred and chuck it straight on red in roulette. If you loose, no biggy. If you win, well you can't ask for more!!

I can see this working fairly well mainly because you're playing against other players, rather than a computer. Especially on the lower limit table, people will be fairly tight. That $5 they have there is their entire bankroll sometimes. =) It's easy enough to raise a pot, then go all in to steal it.

OR you get a loose donk who goes all in with 68 offsuite, and you're getting super-great odds on a doubleup.=)

That's ok Asian fever. I'm 19 and I've turned $20 into $2000 (lost it all), turned 100 into $6700 (lost it all) and turned $400 into $5600 (lost it all) all on Bodog blackjack.....only cause i can't stand to wait for Bodog to send me my checks, which takes about a month to a month n a half.....So don't feel so bad about yer loss....I've dont that many times but I've finally learned.....and one more thing....you split 4's against a 6?

Yes splitting 4's always against 5 and 6 in das. i always seem to catch 7's. Can't remember how many times I have split and doubled both and won, 44 is like my luckiest hand.

It was a das and the dealer was hitting the soft 17, so that means even more busts on a 6. I got 44, splitted and got more 4s, resplitted and got more 4s and there was a limit of 3 splits to I could not split my last pair of 4s. I think I also got 2 double down hands on that hand. Then the dealer won it all and I had a huge initial bet out on that hand

I still got loads of bonuses available and I can manage to get friend's IDs so in a while this probably won't matter anymore to me. I am currently living in Canada by the way.

hmmm why does bodog take so long?

I recenently played some roulette on their for fun, and got a very interesting string of results. Basically I was doing a sort of oscars grind, I got no red spin up in 22 spins... with 0 spinning up 4 times in this and the rest black. In that I also had a 4 spin sequence 0 17 0 17 happen twice in a row

Peirs, since there's not card counting online, and the computer is a cold heartless bitch, online provides a great environment to practice ruthlessly perfect basic strategy.

I knew basic strategy before playing online, but a few hundred thousand online hands has made it automatic.

Dacium... you're not trying to win long term with online roulette, are you?

I've noticed a weird thing with Microgaming roulette, which I will sometimes set to max-speed autospin for a ridiculous length of time. Even only occasionally looking at the screen, there appears to be an unusually large number of identical numbers getting hit back-to-back. I would theorize that internet latency and such can't keep up with the rate of spins. Unfortunately, any scheme to "bet the last number hit" would take too long, and if there was anything to be exploited, it would disappear once the pace was slowed even slightly.
