Anothe open letter to Casinos - Slot bonuses

#1
I probably have a fairly decent collection of slot cards and one thing angers me - AND EVERYONE I HAVE TALKED TO!

Casinos advertise neat things TO NEW SLOT CLUB MEMBERS and LEAVE OUT THE OLD FAITHFULS!

Oops!

Don't hit <enter> twice while typing: it submits your post.

To continue:

I know why this is done, to bring in new customers, but the older customers feel left out.

The Solution -> offer the same offer to old customers but limit it to once per month - or any other time frame that seems appropriate.

That will bring BOTH NEW AND OLD CUSTOMERS IN THE DOOR!

It's not much, but it's my opinion. I'm still pushing for an "Open letters to Casinos" section on this great forum.

Instead of an open letter that they will not see, you may want to invest in a 44 cent stamp, Bruisedlee and corespond directly to the marketing dept of the casino. Express your concerns in a polite manner and you may be surprised at the personal attention you will receive. This works best, if you do a bit of research and mail directly to the director of marketing.

Good idea. Let's just hope I don't get lazy BUT how do I get this to ALL casinos. 44 cents times a lot = more than I can afford for the return.

well, you dont have to do all casinos. try a few and see your response. I will share one of mine.

There was a casino that I had put a fair amount of time in but stopped playing there when their blackjack conditions and rules took a dive. I saw their billboard advertising free $100 for new players. I wrote and told them that despite the fact that I still play regularly, I no longer frequest them because I had stopped receiving any offers from them. I have now received a mailer for the past 8 months which contains two (2) $25 matchplay coupons. Was well worth the 42 cent (at the time) stamp.

In the spirit of your "open letter to casinos" thread, I will post my gripe.

The homeless, prostitutes and panhandlers applying there trades inside the casino. I can accept that we have to deal with this element outside on the strip, or on the boardwalk in AC or downtown in vegas, but come on....not inside the casino. Can't you assign some of the overpaid security personel to this situation?

Sadly the casinos have a "special relationship" with these individual (many who appear to have mental issues) by relieving them of the funds from what ever government program they may be on, so I think they tend to be a bit too tolerant.
