Best place to play in AC

4 Deckers

I did incredibly well at those 4 deckers for the short time they were there but alas, I shall never see what the long term would have brought. It's hard to gauge much from a very short term scenario.

For Tropicana to make the blackjack game every bit as crummy as any other joint in AC is another fine example of stupidity on the part of management, not allowing something innovative enough time to "catch on" to increase volume of business and gain a greater portion of the "table game pie" in AC. Tropicana has had enough in the way of bad press and poor PR in recent times that if their games are every bit as crummy as anywhere else... people will go... anywhere else.

They'd open up more blackjack tables. After all, that's their bread and butter. Their days of being THE slot joint are over. Only reason why you see those empty carnival games still around is because their profit %'s are so high with them that they only need 1 or 2 players to essentially make the same amount or more than they would with a full table of bj players.
They're living in a dream world. In their dream, all the slot players at the racetracks realize the error of their ways and repent, and come crawling back to line up to play at their machines. And the blackjack players, frustrated with the crowded tables, forget about blackjack and start playing Caribbean Stud.

It sounds ridiculous, I know, but you can be certain some casino executive is as you read this preparing a presentation for his superiors that says exactly that, full of fancy charts and corporate BS, and it might buy him an extra 6 months at his do-nothing job. And if it all blows up in his face I'm sure AIG will have a job for him.

I don't think that will happen in AC anytime soon, but when I visited Foxwoods about 3 weeks ago, almost all of the non-BJ tables were also very full, specially the mini baccarat tables, I couldn't believe my eyes, maybe this ridiculous dream is becoming true somehow.
