Am I overbetting? underbetting?

Thanks, SSSSSStretch
There are 2 hands on all. The custom bet is your spread.

but I can spread, so I am going to.

This entire thread has been trying to find the optimum spread for this BJ heaven condition, not to warn me off.

I have been experimenting with different spreads (no sim, so limited trials), and am searching for help to find a great spread for my BR.

I've done 5 to 2x125, and 5 to 100, and 5 to 2x90, many times a week for many, many months now. But live games are limited trials. So my original question was and is: What is optimal?

But thanks for telling me I won't last a week.

OK lol..I get it. You are getting away with a crazy spread. My next question is are you winning? Ofcourse they will let you get away with this insane spread if you are losing.

Ya know what...as much as I find it hard to believe that you are spreading like a madman and a winning player without any heat...more POWER to ya!

Finally

Thanks BJ Count. I will use much closer to the optimal spread you show for two hands in a positive count in your sim, as opposed to the count I had been using.

SD, I know my spread-ability is hard to believe, but it is true.

But my results have not been what I thought they should be, therefor the inquiry into optimal.

BJ Count's sim will help, as I do see counts up to 10 and 12 occasionally (single deck RC+5 halfway through is TC 10). No count stays steady for long, so I am constantly changing my bet in a positive count, negative counts see alot of 5 and 10 dollar bets. I will only bet 5 on one hand when negative.

Thanks, I am off to the store today.

You would probably not be allowed to bet 5 hands of $15. It is usually against casino policy. Any why is the max bet smaller than the previous two bets?

No thanks Kolan

I agree with Sonny. 3 box match at the house I frequent (at 3x min), 2 hands at 2x min.

I will try the following:

<0 5
0 10
1 2x15
2 2x30
3 2x40
4 2x50
5 2x60
6 2x75
8 2x90
10 2x115

Thanks to all,

No +3 or +7

Why no +3?

If after one hand, 6,2,4, 6,..X,8 (push) isn't that a +3?
I was assuming that more than one hand was being played per round. If you're playing one hand heads-up then you could occasionally have a +3 TC, but if you're playing heads-up then you are better off playing 2 hands at all times. If you are not playing heads-up then the other players will use up some cards. If the first round is positive then you will probably end up using about 1/4 deck so your TC will not be +3 anymore, it will be +4. You'll notice this in the Chapter 10 charts of Blackjack Attack.

Thanks Sonny,

I usually play one hand off the top, then go to two if the count is positive. So I do see some +3 (or +5) on the second hand, now with two bets out. The tables were too crowded at the times I swung by last weekend. I'll have more time during off hours coming up. Viva la optimum spread.
