Anyone played this?
Six decks, with the tens removed.

Heres how you play
You make a bet.
Dealer draws an upcard.
Now you can place an additional bet up to your original bet.
Example- Bet $10, dealer shows a six, you bet an additional $10.
Dealer draws an Ace, you bet nothing. On a seven, you might want to wager a bit more.
You can double down on both bets on two or more cards, including after splits.
You can surrender anytime if dealer doesn't have BJ, including after hitting, splitting or doubling.
Insurance pays 5-2. (remember the tens are removed)
There is an optional bust it bet where you wager the dealer will break in three cards.
If the dealer busts with a ten valued card, it pays 3-1. If he busts with a six, it pays 15-1.
If you bet the bust it bet and the dealer busts with a 8, 8, 8 of the same color, it's 50-1. Same suit is 200-1.
BJ pays even money.

Thoughts? Calculations?

You should double on anything aside from a nine, ten or ace imo. Fallsview Casino has a shoe version of this game, or did a while ago anyway.

Not necessarily. I was at a casino recently that had a game they called Face Up Blackjack. It was identical to Double Exposure.

It does, but the slight difference in the names must mean something.
Maybe not using the same name keeps them from having to pay royalties but still deal the game. I would think there would have to be some slight difference though. Otherwise wouldn't it be copyright infringement?
