It's came to my attention that even the worlds best card counter, can only make as much money as the card penitration allows for, Penitration is how far back the deal cuts the cards before dealing, meaning usually in a 2 deck half usually between 1/2 and 1 deck is cut off, the variation of the penitration is as, the better the penitration the more of a chance especially in a 2 deck shoe because of the size, the more money you can make because the more cards dealt the better of a chance that you have for the TC to be +3 and +6
The increase winning size of just a half of a deck penitration is expected at 75%.
Also is true in a 6 deck shoe, 1 1/2 decks are usually cut off, if you can convince your dealer to only cut a deck off, you will have an approx winning if the TC is +3 or better of 75% more which is significant.
My advice is, once you mastered counting, and playing at the same time, it's time to make sure you find a table with great penitration and a dealer that is chatty, so you can befriend him to make sure that only 1 deck is cut off each shoe.
