Today when I finished playing I went to the cashier to cash out my $1700 and she started counting out my money in $20 bills, When I asked for hundreds she said were out of hundreds and fifties.

How oftain does this happen?

I an just imagine cashing out like 9k and having it be paid in 20's, that would SUCK

I wish that the govt still had $500 bills, I feel shady walking around with a clump of cash on me, I would feel much better with like 10 $500 bills than 50 $100 bills (or 250 $20 bills lol)

Traditionally, casinos in the USA consider $50 bills a nuisance.

Remember, that if you are playing "carded", you can always ask for a CHECK, instead of cash.

I've heard that, too. Same thing about $2 bills.
I like $2 bills,

I consider $50 bills anoying though, I much rather have hundreds, mostly because I dont like having a wad of cash, if I had a smaller amount of cash I would be cool with $50's

Since I'm a red chipper, I like more bills in my wallet, makes me feel like I have more money than I really do =]
but then when you have a bad day and you loose 5k in 4hours your wallet feels alot lighter and you feel like you lost more money then you really did

In the UK, a pretty rare event me thinks . . . .
They don't have big bills in the UK. The biggest ones in circulation are 50s and they're so easy to counterfeit that most large transactions are done either electronically or in 20s.

You'll pardon my bewilderment, but are you saying that larger denomination bank notes are EASIER to counterfeit than smaller ones ?

That boggles my little mind.

I like $50s. I make a point to get as many as I can when I cash out at most stores. The casino nearest to me does not carry $50s in the cage, so I make a point to buy in with nothing but them!
