Greetings,

Just got my first CBJN and had a question about a symbol from the "legend" (or key to rules): namely "DA" or "double down on any two or more cards".

In going through my CBJN, I've noticed I haven't seen barely any casinos offering "DA", so do I have this right:

If I don't see a casino with "DA" listed, does that mean I can only double down on my first two cards only--and I can't double down for example on an 2, A, 5 vs. dealer 4?

If that's true, has that rule all but disappeared?

"Da" is "Double down on any two or more cards" according to CBJN "Key to Rules." Get a 3 card 11, doubling is allowed for example. If nothing is mentioned about doubling on two cards, we are allowed to double any two card combination. The Silver Legacy's 6 deck allows double on any two cards, double after splitting, and doubling on any two cards or more cards. The house edge is only .39 with these rules.

would there be some changes to basic stratagy with this rule? Would you want to maybe not double a 9 vs 3 since if you get a 2 you can still double?
What about more splits such as splitting 2s or 3s vs an 8 since you can double on your third card?

I don't believe the rule has disappeared, the rule barely existed anywhere to begin with. There are two casinos in vegas that offer this- The Bighorn and The Longhorn. If any others offer it, I'm not aware of them.
