Cheating at Carribean Stud

Was wondering if anyone knows whether the house can cheat at Carribean Stud.

At BJ it's pretty straightforwards what the house has to do: either some degree of control as to what cards players get and what cards the dealers get (dealing seconds, dealing the bottom card, shills), changing the composition of the played shoe portion (preferential shuffling , removing high cards) and cooler decks.

I am wondering if I can rest assured that Carribean Stud is cheat-proof: in order to cheat at BJ, the house generally needs to identify cards as high or low - is there is any parallel in Carribean Stud ? Logically seems much more complex - you would need to mark every card with suit and exact value... And I do not know if there is a card removal impact on HA similar to BJ..

Any thoughts ?

The house has NO need to cheat at such an awful carnival game.

The following is from http://wizardofodds.com/caribbeanstud

The House Advantage is a whopping 5.224%. However, I think this makes Caribbean Stud look like a worse bet than it really is. The house edge is traditionally defined as the expected loss to the original wager. In Caribbean Stud Poker the optimal strategy player will raise 52.23% of the time, for an average total wager of 2.045 units. For comparing one game against another I prefer to use the element of risk, which is the expected loss to the average wager, which in this case would be 5.224%/2.045 = 2.555%.

Flash,

Your overuse of large fonts is a tad annoying

There is a world beyond the U.S. and yes, beyond what WOO covers. There are so called "carnival games" which can be beaten.
Since there are no viable house countermeasure such as moving cut card or limiting bet spread, the house has to back off APs - or cheat. This is why I want to know if there is indeed a way for the house to cheat here.

"hole-carding" -

not the only way. Some can be beaten with correct strategy and/or other means. If the game is rare (or not available in the US) the strategy is usually unpublished, and has to either be derived from scratch or gratefully received from someone in return for another favour ...

What does WOO mean ?

So, the question remains - in BJ the cheating principle is quite straightforwards - here I cannot even figure out how they would cheat if they wanted to do so (again, short of marking every single card with two values and figuring out exactly what hand I have and what cards I need)

There is no such thing as a cheat-proof casino game.

Why are you asking questions and then getting an attitude with people who are trying to help you?
