Computerized BJ Machines

I thought of a scheme for casinos to try making more money off of the computerized blackjack machines.

In addition to displaying the hand, display the winning percentages for each move. That is, give the players MORE information than usual.

So, for example, you'd see ...
Player: 5 5
Dealer: 9
Stay: 23%
Hit: 50%
Double: 49%
Split: 40%
... and then laugh as people hit.

The drawback is that it might highlight the really glaring mistakes (people who stand on hard 12 vs. dealer 10 might suddenly realize how utterly retarded it is), but on the other hand there's a host of small profits to be made from people getting suckered out of a bunch of doubles (especially soft doubles) and splits (especially defensive splits).

Alternatively, you could charge people for getting the "advice" - like paying 5% of their bet to get the computerized percentages.

I would love to program this machine solely as a social experiment, teach people basic strategy (or give them a card) and then let them play on this machine and see whether they trust the teacher/card more or the machine more, or how many people realize what's going on.

Charge them 50% to see the hole card.
