cover/blocking out annoying people

has anybody tried pretending they don't speak english to shut up any schmoes at the table? I speak French well enough and so do my friends. Could we talk about the count and betting strategies openly in french without dealers in LV picking that up?
Or if we get caught speaking english later is that too much heat?

Only in poker. As a Northeasterner I'm regularly at tables where I am the only speaker of English, including the dealer. The players cards at Foxwoods are printed in Chinese and English.

Q. What do you call a Vietnamese guy who dresses up in women's clothes???
