CSM and Pen Questions

How does a ASM change the game as far as counting goes if at all? I had confused that with CSM. I know that a CSM (continuous shuffling machine) makes counting pointless.
I have noticed poor Pen at the 10 dollar tables. I was wondering if it is because it's the 10 dollar table or because I watched for a long while waiting for the count to go up

I kind of want to go to Niagra Falls (I'm close), any info on the Casinos there. Pen and such.

There is little, if any, correlation between the table minimum and the penetration. Penetration will vary by casino or dealer most often.
