ditto.

unless you enjoy comp hustling, it can be a lot of fun.
I think the comps are worth it in a lot of situations.

I sure as hell aren't paying for my own room and food. I don't really use comp hustling tactics but I'll take what I get for my play.

Anyone who stays at the casinos MUST play rated (at least at some places). I don't know of any serious APers who pay for their rooms. Maybe it's just because I'm used to playing rated and getting comped since day 1, but I just wouldn't feel right about paying for something in a casino.

My friend was talking about a trip to Vegas and how expensive the rooms are, it was then I realized that it's pretty impressive I have never paid for a room in Vegas or AC.

I use a card but at slots only and still reap the rewards. Drop $100.00 into a slot and next thing you know you get 10 free hotel stays a month so you can then play blackjack and not have to use your card at the tables.

That involves spending $100 playing slots though.

And that isn't nearly enough play at most places to get saturday rooms free.

[ . . . ] It's alright to play unrated at places you don't plan on playing again for a good long time but once a month doesn't fall into the category of infrequent.
Unless you have good disguises, as we all should.
