dealer change

I was playing heads up at this one game and while there was NO sign of heat from the pit, i had the dealer changed on me 7 times in within 30 mins. It got to a point of absurdity. I had the same dealer for like 30 mins and was doing very well (one of those nights where you feel like you can't lose) and then they started switching dealers like mad. I had one of the dealers come in and deal 4 hands and then got pulled. I decided to leave as I was up quite a bit and no need to press my luck. This just seemed odd, especially since the pit was not paying attention at all. Could this of been initiated by the eye or did they just have the worst scheduling conflict ever?

Never had that made switch out but you never seem to have a dealer switch out when your losing, only on the big runs

It could be coincidental, since scheduling of dealers to cover a multitude of game, more than just bj tables, is a fly-by-the-seat-of-you-pants operation. It could be just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

OTOH, I have read that some casinos are just as superstitious as their ploppy customers. If someone is beating the house, they will bring in a new dealer. If that doesn't work, they may bring in another dealer-- and another. Sometimes, pit people see their dealers as those who are pushovers, and those who always get the cash, as if a different dealer has anything to do with dealing the very same shoe.

Take the movie, The Cooler, for instance. Can you imagine a casino hiring a person because they are a loser and whatever game they put him in, he's guaranteed to make the game go south? I can. Sometimes gamblers will bet just the opposite what some known loser bets just because they have a belief that this person can and will f*** up a wet dream. That's really not enough for my money; even blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. It would be my luck that that would be the first time ever that the schmuck picked the winner right on the nose.

And yet they'll keep wishing you well saying things such as "good luck" and "win big".
