I had posted before on playing on the don't side & keeping a constant don't pass & don't come working on ever throw of the dice ,but never give odds. I wen't to AC with the intention of doing just that only to lose my ass. Not one time did I bet on the don't . If I had stuck to my plan ,I would have won . While I was there ,the casino brought in a whale who wanted a table all for himself. They closed down our table ,so I found a spot on a already crowded table. Some of us were rubbernecking his table, security said thats a no no . What a prick! He lost a fortune & most of us were glad.

C'mon pogo, you keep telling us how to play and win but you didn't even follow your own advice? You know better than that! How are the students supposed to follow your SYSTEM if the professor doesn't use it.

Good point, Dye. You know, it is pretty interesting to hear someone argue for playing the Don'ts because it is far superior than the Pass Line. When we are looking at .02% difference, isn't it just a matter of preference (personally, I see no allure to being a pure Don't bettor, but that is a personality thing I suppose) rather than good vs. better wager? They are in essence the same, but opposite, wager.

In all fairness, I would be interested in seeing a breakdown of a single Pass Line (or Don't) bet vs. a volley of Pass & Comes. Off the cuff, loading up on repetitive Come bets (if not taking full Odds on all) seems like a waste. Not sure about the other side though.

Pass and Come are identical bets. Your EV is minus 1.5% of every dollar you put on either. The odds bet is even money. It does not affect EV, but it does increase variance. Not a good combo. :whip:

chef, we know dice can't be beat in the long run & what i post is just in fun & not to be taken serious ,but lord i wish i had stuck to my guns & yes dye ,i did enjoy seeing this guy lose> i wish you luck as always> pogostick
