It's possible. Your profile may pop up if they google your name. I don't talk about blackjack on facebook.

Yikes! I had Blackjack attack 3 listed as my favorite book. I have removed that. Perhaps I should put in it's place the title of a book about the martingale progressive betting system.

My real name doesn't match my nickname which is what everyone calls me, and there are several listings for my nickname on facebook, and the listings for my real name aren't me.

I have a really simple way of dealing with this.

I'm not on Facebook at all.

These days I suppose that means I don't really exist.

Facebook is an easy way to get busted.
It would good to put ploppy stuff on FB, like links to John Patrick and E Clifton Davis... and even GA.
Let the world know who you really are! zg

There have been news reports of people getting robbed because they set their status to something like: "going to las vegas for 5 days of debauchery and tomfoolery! Woo hoo! Won't be back until nov. 10, so don't come to my house. I won't be there." Not to mention, the numerous cases of people getting fired or getting dumped by their significant other over FB statuses and clues.

people post their cell phone numbers with the privacy settings turned off, and the biggest, most overblown news concern, is that facebook makes it easy for your info to to be passed onto advertisers and third party apps.

facebook makes it easier for people to "google" you.

I prefer an "accidental" listing of a file titled, "Treasure Island: A Case Study," purporting to contain detailed plans for robbing casinos in broad daylight. Strictly a work of fiction, mind you.

PS--Don't anyone try this--it's a joke. :joker:

More than slightly. But, the casinos are quite paranoid too...

I just wouldn't put anything in my facebook profile, that's all I'm saying.

I wonder if casino search for your facebook profile and finding out you have been bragging about cc.
Keep your gambling associations off of facebook. Keep your settings set to "friends only". Avoid any applications. Surveillance rooms have ID's players based on the activities of their associates who were on facebook.
