My next trip to Vegas I am going to bring a 10k TR.

My gameplan is to only play the best DD games I can find using Hi Lo about 30 variations Fab 4.

My ?'s:

I will be playing 20 hrs appx. what spread could I use and have my ror at around 25%? I think I figured it once before at 50-400??

Is this doable?

Thanks as always for the great advice.

Stay on no higher than a $25 min table, do a 1-8 and stay sharp.....pick only good games.

The best DD games you will find and the best shoe games you will find are equal, in LV. The difference is you can play for 20 hours at the shoes without getting the douche. I got it 5 times in 20 hours on my last DD trip. $10K is not really a Hail Mary bankroll, more like a Glory Be if you play it wisely.

That sounds very similar to my approach last trip. That spread will get you considerable heat on DD games. At the smaller shops, keep your sessions very short (<30 min) or you will get backed off fast. At the larger shops, you can play safely for a couple hours if you're not winning big (even sitting on your EV of +2-4 units/hour is ok if you pocket chips). But as soon as you hit a positive variance streak, it's a good time to leave as this will start to get attention.

When you succumb to negative variance, you can generally get away with all the aggressive play you want (they don't think twice about you if you're losing money), but do not fall into the cycle of sitting in one place trying to win it all back, because as soon as your std dev swings the other way, you will probably get backed off before winning anything significant back. Big losses can happen easily, but the big wins you need to offset them are hard to get away with. This was my biggest mistake during my first Vegas trip and made it almost impossible to come out ahead. Keep your sessions short and sweet.

I didn't run a sim on this, but I would think the odds of losing 10K in 20 hrs with this approach are exceedingly slim, much lower than the 25% OP was asking for? Or am I missing something?

This hasn't been my experience. I play very short sessions, so I have only experienced a hand full of back offs, but I believe they all have come during losing sessions. Kind of like kicking a man when he's down. :(

I agree with Jason. Most backoffs occur while down. The casinos get extra glee from doing it that way.

How would you spread the 6D to avoid heat? Play 50-400 and wong out when you get to Neg counts? I dont think a 1-12 would be a great idea for a longer session or would it?

There are shoe games as good as the Bellagio HL DD?

Spread When Wonging

Hey Moo any spread suggestions? I like to go in with a solid game plan to keep me on track and focused.

I have done a few wonging trips:

I played 6D, S17, DA2, DAS, LS with at least 75 pen.

I bet $200 at TC 3 or more and $100 at TC 1 and 2; Wong out at 0. I would come in with $100 at +2 and paraly/get out depending.

Average bet per round of 2.64 units or $132 and a 1.54% initial bet advantage which produces an expectation of $2.03 per hand played.

I could only get in about 30 Hhour.. I figured I could get this a much higher HH playing DD but don't want to get F'd with..

I am trying to get at 100+ an hour.. PLEASE HELP this is all my brain can come up with.

Thanks
