I happened to be in PA, so I thought, why not teach them that iot is NOT OK to legalize those games and go take their money.

I observed, and played breifly and noticed lots of interesting things.

For one, theres just about every combination of games you can imagine here, from unplayable to playable.

There were two pits with blackjack tables, so ill break it down that way.

Pit one: (near the cage) had maybe 10 or 12 tables, they were all dealt the same way, which was rediculous.

4/8 decks s17 das , late surrender 3:2 and no side bets with hand shuffles, the 50% pen with a hand shuffle slowed the game pace so much that at any time, you could see 4 tables shuffling, which, while the penetration had a negetive effect, the frequency of new shoes opening up made finding them effortless

Curiously I heard of a rule where all tables allowed midshoe entry, however, if a player entered midshoe, they would be forced to bet the table minimum, i entered midshoe everytime I entered and it wasnt enforced, but perhaps I was lucky. some dealers would only cut off three decks

Pit two: sadly I discoveed this pit on my way out after grinding out any advantage I could out of those shitty games, this pit has alll of the other table games as well.

All games were dealt s17, ls, das 3:2 8 decks, but this pit had a combination of CSM, ASM, hand shuffles, 4/8, and 6/8 games.

I found one table that was 6/8 maybe it was the dealer, maybe its a regular thing, but i played it for a bit before i went home.

The last thing I observed was that PIT1 has a balcony overhead where you can have direct line of sight to all 10 or 12 of the tables in the pit from overhead, IDK if you can view the cars well enough from there to do something productive from there, but the thought crossed my mind.

Oh, and one other cool thing I saw is that they have self serve free soda bars, so you dont have to wait on the waitress if you wanta coke, or you can just grab one whenever your thirsty, it was pretty cool.

FNP,

You are correct: the balcony at the Skybox allows one to over see the BJ pit by the cage. Dunno about scoping cards from up there...that's territory I avoid ;)

The main pit by the front doors is arguably the better of the two, as you noted. Of the multiple times I've been there, the pen appears to be the most consistent in this pit.

Just my observations. good luck:joker:

So it's not just me!

The first time I was there the dealer was cutting only one deck. The next time I was there I saw half the deck cut. On that second visit I also quickly got white hot heat for spreading 1-5 (didn't get a chance to go to my max) so between that and the half shoe I figured they had me made from my previous visit. In hindsight I think I just bought in for too much and an early good count showed them all they needed to see.

There was an Asian man at the table who I suspect was either a casino employee or an AP with an incredibly good act. He was acting very drunk, arguing with PC about uselessness of the rewards card but played razor sharp BS. I was not watching his bets. He also commented on exactly how much I had won when I left due to the heat. Not something a drunk ploppie would do.

suspects among us

I know that saying that I suspect casinos of having casino personnel in the mix is paranoid but it would seem that it's not that farfetched in Pa. My casual observations so far have not warranted any alerts but my defenses are higher at new places than ones I frequent regularly. My dumb defense kicks in on auto-pilot when I see the same person in another section. I hate it when dealers fill in for floors and wonder if they tag my play for further study
