How do you tell a dealer don't touch the chips you just place?

because the Rivers is the prettiest and most luxurious casino in the world. And I did not say black people are cheaters. Using a creative way to guarantee the casino is always winning is not cheating. Actually I admire the owners very much for them thinking outside the box.
You mean it's more like William H. Macy in The Cooler?

It is the Rivers casino in Pittsburgh. So far, I am 8 for 8 on winning in the Meadows but 3 for 7 in the Rivers. I know at least 2 female dealers practicing the same Voodoo magic in the Rivers. But so far all male dealers I encountered are all right.

I am a scientist. At first, I told myself things like this don't matter. But after playing with these female dealers a few times for more than 10 hours, I have different perception how the universe, mathematics and physics work. Note that the Rivers casino is owned by a group of black people. The owners operate the casinos differently. I heard they hire high priestesses from Haiti to bless and curse objects, also training employees etc.
Gee, there is some serious stuff going down in your neck of the woods there, genius. I suggest two things... 1 Get AutoMonk on the job. He has some experience with zombies and he won't mess around with any casino hanky-panky. 2: Get yourself some of these dolls and pins, and start stickin and chantin. Good luck. You gonna need it, brother. :)

hey genius,

I have been there and saw this same move, check out her OTHER hand, while she distracts you by touching your stack she is stacking the deck with the lose hand.

New casino, old trick, asK slieghtofhand he knows all about it.

Genius-
I think this is a put on. If this isn't a put on then please realize (assuming no cheating is going on) the cards come up as they come up. Over and out!
That said: next time you're at her table pull out a bottle with a big obvious label on it. The label should read "HOLY WATER"-start sprinkling it on the dealer and the table. Note: If the dealer starts to melt and/or her head does a 360 run like hell. :joker:

Shouldn't you be more worried if she doesn't melt? Case in point: man holds up crucifix in front of Dracula, Dracula lets out a fiendish laugh, moves toward man, blood-red eyes glued to man's neck.

Yeah Sharky, I hope Sleight spills the beans on this one as I'd also like to know how someone can stack - or fiddle with - a deck, with just one hand while her other hand is messing with genius's pile. This (obviously-voodoo-high-priestess) dealer must be a real dud because with talent like that, why would she be working there for peanuts?

Sharky has a point. Cheating is quite possible.

Indeed, a “mechanic” would receive considerable extra income "under the table” from the casino.

It is not like no casinos who deal "pitch" games never cheat.

At least two of us have been cheated at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks, NV

doo doo on voodoo?

I haven't encountered a card mechanic but I don't play pitch games that often to be that observent to really know one. I can say that I have left a dd game once with a spanish dealer because I did heard the noise from would could be seconds being dealt on certain hands. The spanish guy that was playing was winning and I was losing. Just what could the dealer being doing to stack a deck against a player if it's a shoe? Another way to stop a dealer from touching your cards is to take a pen and draw a small cross on your index finger when you signal for a hit she will see it and stop touching your chips gauranteed!

re:

I highly doubt they are cheating. They are dealing from an 8 deck shoe /w ASM. This voodoo talk is really strange. Most of the people I've ran across there have been nothing but nice. I like it better than the Meadows. If you want REALLY strange clientel/dealers, try Greektown in Detroit. Talk about bottom of the barrell.
