I play in a local card room with a 8 deck shoe, is this ideal for a card counter?

Heres the deal,

There is a local casino from my house here in california (5 min drive).

Its mainly targeted for poker players like any other card room but has about 2-3 blackjack tables running. Heres how the BJ table is executed:

Its called No bust blackjack.

If you bust a 23 and the dealer busts a 24, then you push, but if the dealer busts 22 or 23, then you still lose.

They use 8 decks with about 90% penetration.
-Split only once
-No double down after splits
-only one card when splitting aces
-Dealer hits soft 17
-No surrender at any time
-Blackjack Pays 6 to 5.

After they shuffle and before the dealer starts dealing, the dealer takes turns over the first card. If the card is a 3. then the dealer burns 3 additional cards, if hes showing a 10 or face card, then he burns 10 cards. then the game starts.

The thing that sucks is that you have to pay collection for every 100 dollar bet. So if i bet 300 dollars, i have to pay 3 dollars. if i bet 60 dollars, i pay 1 dollar.

So my question is, for card counters, is this an ideal situation? The reason I ask is because this local casino does not care for card counters. I can tell because the pit bosses dont really pay attention and dealers dont care as well.

This is not a casino but a card room. The reason the pit boss does not care is because they are not banking the action. There is a corporation there to be the banker when you play. You can not beat this game.

hey pro, your right

I forgot to mention that we play against a "corporation". How is it that this game is unbeatable Versus a BJ game at Vegas? whats the difference?

Those rules do suck. There is a card room by me that uses CSM. No funky burn rules. 6:5. No collection from players just the player/banker. Split as many times and doa. Only push hand is if the dealer gets 8 8 8 and you have busted already. Not a serious game to play.

I used to think I knew of the worst game on earth

When the Rio payed 1-1 on blackjacks, I thought that was the worst game on earth.

O'Sheas 8 decker paying 6/5 looked like the current worst game on earth.

Now, we have an 8 decker paying 6/5 with an additional 1% commission being paid, plus those funky Cal poker club rules. I have a new nominee for WORST KNOW GAME!!

Stay away, stay far far away!

This is probably close to dealer wins ties. Godawful game, completely unbeatable, even with an 80% read on the dealer's hole card.
