* Double on 9, 10 or 11.
* Dealer stands on soft 17 (S17)
* No surrender
* Split to 3 hands, including Aces
* One card only on split aces
* Double after split (DAS)
* Blackjack pays 3:2
* Insurance pays 2:1
* Dealer blackjack takes all doubles and splits (European no-hole-card-rule)

Back Betting / Wonging In
Back betting is allowed up to three hands per box.

No, you shouldn't learn to count to play that game, but you could learn to count and also how to find the types of blackjack games that are worth counting and playing.

Any game that is continuously shuffled and only uses a small percentage of all of the cards available thwarts what card counting does for you. When you count cards, you are keeping track of the ratio of high to low cards remaining.

When the cards are continuously shuffled you never get a significant imbalance of low to high cards to exploit the advantage that a player has if there is a significant number of high cards (tens and aces) remaining in the cards.

Yes, it sucks if your only option is a continuously shuffled game, and many games that are not continuously shuffled are still not playable for the card counter because of rules and penetration (the number of decks that are dealt out before the shuffle).

There are many variables to consider when trying to find a winning blackjack game. I suggest you get the book "Blackbelt in Blackjack," by Arnold Snyder. Then you can learn what makes a game playable, practice, and find a good game on vacation somewhere.

Are there CSM's out there now that can handle 8 decks? I'm pretty sure the shufflemaster King and one2six cannot. Are they dealing out several decks and then only reinserting a couple decks at a time so the machine doesn't get over loaded? Perhaps you are confusing ASM with CSM?

Unless it is one deck it doesn't matter how many decks they use. They will typically deal 1-2 hands then load the machine.

If a machine can only hold 6 decks and they are dealing 8 decks that means you would be playing at 25% pen. Believe me I won't be beating down the doors to find or play this game but its certainly better then one or two rounds pen. Mainly the question was out of curiosity because I don't think I've ever seen an 8 deck CSM. Which leads to my last question. Was the OP confusing CSM's with ASM's?

Even if you were to sabotage the CSM and force the casino to deal this game out of a shoe, it would still be pretty poor unless you had great penetration.
