I really don’t see the point of all these polls. Very few people participate and the results are certainly not reliable. I don’t think anybody takes them seriously so why bother? I just ends up making everyone feel bad.

This website is not a competition. Nobody should feel embarrassed or overconfident about their skill level compared to other members. Most of the people on this website just play recreationally and don’t care about being “the best.” Those who do want to be “the best” shouldn’t use this website to gauge their level of achievement. The internet is a great place to learn card counting but you won’t see the best techniques described in any detail, and most not at all.

I completely agree with you on this one Sonny. I only actually ventured into this thread as i saw that you were the last poster and was thinking to myself wtf?
These polls seem to me like ego crusades, jokes or completely worthless. If the people invovled honestly feel so insecure that they need to compare themselves to other posters in some form of popularity contest that really speaks volumes about their knowledge. If they are a joke, they're not very funny and if they are intended for anything else they are totally devoide of any worthwhile content.
Do we really need any more BJINFO IDOLS post?

Anyway - I don't care and I'm not voting lol - BJ is such a simple game to play correctly, it constantly amazes me how many people don't.

The downside is I have to admit to my wife that she is as good as a player as I am since she plays perfect BS too :grin:

You ask for a poll about me?, ask me first. You gotta problem with me?, just say it.

Anybody else that has an opinion I'd just prefer it that u say it openly to me.
I'd much rather know what u think of me absolutely without comparison to how I compare to 2 people I don't even know.

On the other hand, it's true, I do like to throw stuff out there to see what people might think, but, often, no one seems to have much of an opinion anyway lol.

No big deal - I'm sure I've been called worse lol.

1) It was directed at supercoolmancool, and the same thing applies to him.
2) He also lives in ND, and he can easily walk to a casino that he is not banned from.
3) We're dealing with libel here instead of slander, and the truth of these statements can easily be proven. We can prove residence in ND, and we can prove that we can walk to a casino in less than 5 minutes. We live in different parts of town, and we both can, from either house.

I think it might be a case of incomplete information. The gaming climate has changed for us both, and you are still dealing with old info. Just a misunderstanding I think.

It would be fun if we had some online drills or contests or tests at the site where we could settle some of this, officially.
And instead of voting polls we could bet on our favorites.

We could call it the WBPITTW Games! zg

Isn't there a way for the moderator to look up the IP addresses for these kids and settle this once and for all? They did it to prove some other screen names were from the same computer.

After all, we did VOTE for a moderator.
