Lists of Blackjack Games by Casino?

Anyone familiar with sites that list blackjack games (rules, side-bets, promotions, minimum/maximum, penetration, other relevent information) by casino/region? I know of TrackJack.com but I haven't signed up because I am unsure of the information I will find. I hear there are newsletters out there but tend to be more static in nature.

I want to be able to browse different blackjack games in my region without having to go visit each one and take a walk around. It will save me time and effort and allow me to prepare before I go.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Is TrackJack exactly what I'm looking for? Is there another site or service you can recommend?

Discuss!

I personally find Current BlackJack News (BJ21.com) to be a little more accurate than Trackjack, but either should only be used as a reference and not a substititute for doing your homework and scouting your own conditions. Conditions are very fluid and sometimes change as a direct result of what is published in these reports.

If you wan to try trackjack, I suggest you carefully look at the website. Often you can buy an item and get three months of TJ thrown in free cheaper than an actual subscription. I bought a set of advanced strategy cards for around $10 and got three months of TJ plus a trial on his pay web site. Either the TJ or the membership would have cost more if purchased alone.

KJ,

Value your opinion. Its been years at this point, but when I tried TJ...I errrr
wasn't impressed.

You think it is on-par with CBJN?

Of course nothing beats pounding the pavement, but I think they are decent as starting points.

I really don't use either service regularly. I tried TJ only one time. Didn't find it to be of much value to me. In fairness it was a while ago, maybe things have improved. I use CBJN sporadically. Maybe twice a year. I use it more as a reference point regarding rules and number of tables of places that I may not visit regularly. Number of tables is very important to me, because I play a very short session, hit and run game and want to be able to play another table in short order. I place little value in the penetration levels listed, as that is so fluid, it can rapidly change by dealer, shift or day. I do my own homework regarding that.

CBJN is a good place to start. Say if you're planning a trip to Vegas, it's often correct on rules. Pen is a different story.

So now that KJ has said it, I'll add my own experience.

I was pretty upset at TJ when I looked at the product. I REALLY didn't think it was worth it. But I didn't want to publicly just completely rip on it.

My data point.

Within the last 2-3 years, purchased TJ once, purchased CBJN 2-3 times per year.

Both CBJN and TJ are lacking in less known areas (Midwest/South). But TJ was for me even worse than CBJN in the Midwest <-- which translates to them being really really horrible.

Both CBJN and TJ are going to be better in Las Vegas, AC, California, NorthEast area, but I found CBJN to be more accurate and more up to date.

Not sure why you waited until after I weighed in. Please share your experiences. That's what this board is all about. :) Hopefully learning and benefitting from each other and each others expereinces. :) As for not wanting to rip on it, you were a paying customer and shared your expereince and opinion of the product. Nothing wrong with that.

I take back what I said. Update from the wiz's site:
The following table shows only true 3-2 Blackjack games in the Las Vegas area. Prior to July 1, 2010, the information was provided by the Current Blackjack News. Unfortunately, revenue to this site is not enough to justify the monthly expense for the information, so I have had to go back to doing my own survey.

However, CBJN has more info such as pen. and some additional comments about many of the casinos (heat, facial recognition, sharing of info, etc.) it also includes info on other games (Sp21, Switch, etc.) as well as 6:5 games which might be of interest to some people employing advanced techniques. CBJN is also in a nice, printable format.
