Somewhat of a new poster, but I have to share my story. I'm lucky enough to live about 5hrs away from LV by car. Problem is my bud recently bought a piper which makes travel much more convinient. Just got back from a very nice 2 night trip to LV. Playing a green chip, 2 deck table at my new favorite strip casino. Im at 3rd doing fairly well spreading 1-8. My bro is next to me doing equally as well. We got the table to ourselves. A guy in his late 20s sits at first and buys in for 2000 all black. He's playing 1-6. He wins a few, but it was obvious he has not taken interest in bjinfo. He had a very hard time with soft hands, splitting and doubling. He liked to point out he was playing the most at the table, and seemed much more interested in getting his free cocktail. Anyways, he gets a 8,3 on a 6 unit bet. Dealer has a five I don't recall the count, but it was player favorable. He starts whining about what to do. Bro and I both got 20. After what seemed like 30seconds of watching him squirm trying to make a decision I chirped in and asked him if I could buy the double. He agrees I slide over the no brainer 6 black. Dealer throws down a face for 21. She busts, and I make $600. That's the first time I have ever done that. I won't make it a habit, but I will always be on the lookout.
