Casinos love players who try progressive betting strategies or any strategies at all, right? So how about one that works. Using the martingale and card counting is probable to work. Pretty much bet minimum while the count against you and when you get a stable positive count that will stay positive for about 2-3 hands, start using the martingale.
1) Bet Minimum while count is not in favor.
2) When the count moves in your favor, start using the martingale.
3) When the count goes into the casino's favor, start going back down to a minimum flat bet.
Repeat.
The reason I've been looking into this is because for one, it's an easy way to disguise your card counting into a simple betting strategy which casino's welcome. The other reason is that the martingale's ultimate weakness is going on a losing streak that will eventually make the exponential growth of the martingale go out of control. So using it when you have a higher advantage will definitely reduce that risk. Just try it out, it's worked for me so far. It's a great way to disguise card counting. Another thing, going back to the theory in where, where you lose a previous hand in blackjack, your next hand will be more favorable because there was a high chance that your low cards made you lose the last hand so high cards will come out, making you more likely to win. This, with counting on top will greatly reduce the risk of the exponential growth going out of hand to outgrow the table limit.
I know most of you will instantly reject this idea due to the fact that most strategies don't work. But if you think it doesn't work, which it may not, I may of had lucky sims and such but state the reasons why in a constructive way.
