To All,

In case you missed it, one of the Hilton Hotel and Casino Blackjack Tournament finals will air tonight on Travel Channel at 8PM and again at 11PM (ET). They also say it will repeat at 5PM on 11/29.

They do not say if this was this past years (2003) or it was the first years final (2002)round.

I might be mistaken, but I believe there has only been one final so far in that tournament. It took place over 13 months, so it started in 2002, but this taped event should be from last May.

Just finished watching. good show except they made 2 mistakes in the first minute. the announcer said player should hit if he has "hard" 17 or above and they also showed what happens when the dealer has to hit soft 17, dealer drew a 2 (for 19) and then drew another card. I guess the count must have been pretty high for Rodman to make such a big bet in the beginning. they certainly hinted enough times that he counts cards. I guess if he could play anywhere before, he won't be able to now. overall, it was interesting and it looks like a good guy won.

Yes you are correct. I checked out th Las Vegas Hilton website and found the current listing for the Million Dollar BJ Tournament II which will wrap up in May of 2004.

It was interesting to watch and also I was suprised to hear some of the mistakes that the moderator had in his script. The one that really stood out to me was in the opening minutes of the program when they were explaining the fine points of the game. "The dealer must hit if they have a hard 17 or below" I could only wish for such a game! Anybody know what this would add to my edge?
