What ever happened to ScottH & CoolMan? It seemed like "they" were starting to go nuts there for a while with the polls, but it seemed like they vanished!

I definitely thought that they were pretty hard to believe with their skills and all, but they knew a lot about math.

Anyways, just curious.

Scotth left because he didn't want anyone to associate his face with his handle once he became a rich and famous advantage player. He didn't want to be well-known or for anyone to put two and two together. He figured it could hurt with professional relationships. And for that very same reason, I too, am giving myself a permanent ban lol.

I think that's being overly paranoid. Look at Ken Smith he is well known and well runs this site. Renzy is a poster here and everyone knows who he is. and your sentence should be "once he becomes a rich and famous....." unless there is something we are all missing...

Being paranoid is not a bad thing in this business. My notoriety has been a problem for my playing career. If I were still playing a lot of blackjack I would choose to be a lot less visible. Instead, I decided several years ago to focus instead on tournaments, where being well-known isn't as hazardous, though it still has gotten me kicked out a few times.

Most of us are pretty anonymous. But if ScottH really is Scott H. then he may have already divulged too much. I think most of us can understand why he might want to disassociate himself from his posts here.

With both Scott and SCMC gone we'll never know how their attempt at professional AP went. It would have been interesting, whatever happened.

Yes. It's a real loss. Maybe they can re-establish themselves on the Forum under aliases and we will still get the benefit of some of their experiences even if they will have to hold back some for the sake of "camoflauge." I hope they read this and consider it, anyway. In the final analysis they have to do what's best for them.
