MS blackjack

The only recent change I'm aware of (excepting the 24/7 H17 $5 games recently introduced to pit 9) is the triple-down promotion last Thursday. Most games have remained the same for years. Are you sure you're not just experiencing normal variance? Have you been playing at fuller tables? On an insufficient bankroll?

What do you mean a "bj customer"? Are you playing with an advantage? If not then you will inevitably come out behind. If you have indeed been keeping track of your results accurately, and you have been ahead for 14 years, then you have been exceptionally lucky to go this long before the house advantage caught up to you.

I agree!

Everytime I go to Mohegan, I lose! It is impossible to win anything there. On the other hand I can go to Foxwoods and win! I count the decks, still I cannot walk out of Mohegan on the positive side. There is no reason to go there if the conditions are crap. The rules are much more favorable to the player at Foxwoods.

The rules are identical, with the exception that you can't split unlike Ts @ Mohegan.

Your own personal win/loss is meaningless, unless you want to make cheating allegations.

I seriously doubt that you know how to "count the decks".

I dont think they have changed the game at all, I was there last night and it was still 6 decks with ~2 cutoff on average. One thing that is unique to mohegan sun is that most games use ***6 decks in an 8 deck discard tray***, something that could go unnoticed.

mohegan and fw are both s17/das/ls
mohegan is 6 decks, foxwoods is 8 deck foxwoods cuts off about 1.25-2 decks by dealer

Mohegan differences vs Foxwoods

A couple of other small differences between Mohegan and Foxwoods are
1. Mohegan does not limit the # of times a player may split to 4 as do most casino's including Foxwoods.
2. If you play the Match the house pays 11 to 1 vs the 10 to 1 at Foxwoods for a suited match. (I don't play it but many people do) Mohegan also allows players to bet more in the match circle than they are playing oin the blackjack circle.

In SP21, MS only gives you one card when you split Aces. That pretty much makes the game unplayable.
And also, they printed up their own baizes and none of the bonuses now pay on split hands. They settled that argument every SP21 player has had with the pit in their favor just by making up their own rules for the game. This changes basic strategy.

Well, if you think that nothing is different between the two casinos, then what are your experiences/results there? I would love for someone to help me beat MS at the game.

I have read a few different BJ books including Blackbelt in BJ. I have been practicing counting for about six months now. I experience more positive situations at Foxwoods than I ever do at Mohegan. It makes me wonder if the decks at MS are not full?

You experience more positive situations at foxwoods because the pen isn't horrific there. Mohegan's pen is abysmal, which results in fewer significantly advantageous counts.
