Total Bankroll - £5000

Rules - DAS. Double any two cards. No surrender. No peek. S17. 6 decks. 5 decks deep. No hole card (European)

Bet Spread (No wonging) - TC=<0 £5 TC=+1 £10 TC=+2 £20 TC=+3 £30 TC=+4 £50 TC=>+5 £75

Count - Hi Lo (with BS of course :) )

Day 1 (60 mins) - Session Bankroll £350 (not afraid to rebuy)

Played and counted fine, not put off by distractions. Not doing too well until count shoots to RC +12, TC +6 (2 decks left)

Get dealt a pair of 8s vs. dealers 4.

Split and get a 3 on one, 10 on other. Double down the 11 and get dealt a 8.

Dealer draws a card, a 6 for 10. Draw a third and gets a 20. £225 lost in one hand dammit all!

Profit = -£325 ... Ouch

Day 2 (150 mins) - Session Bankroll £350

Start off badly.. very badly and manage to pull back a bit, still way behind though :(

Profit = -£265

Day 3 (60 mins) - Session Bankroll £350

Things run very smoothly, get plenty of naturals and 20s. Count soared up and down.. perfect for doubling and splitting - Note: I never split tens.

Profit = +£95

Day 4 (120 mins) - Session Bankroll £350

Even better than yesterday, two blackjacks on final two hands. Still behind altogether but rather pleased at the win.

Profit = +£200

Total Profit = -£295

I'll keep you up to date on future results :) Basically I want to know if there is anything I could improve on ?? Thanks

Note: I don't play too long because I have a busy day and I get tired easily... still working on concentration levels in the game :)

Sounds like you have the fundamentals down. The only thing I would recommend is upping that spread if your BR and the casino can handle it. 1-15 spread with play all is mediocre. Try wonging or only playing non negative RC hands with a 1-15 spread! Thatll give you a nice boost...

"Upping the spread" is NOT directly a BR size consideration. zg
true, though it does become one when his min bet is already as low as $5 and he cant really lower his min bet... BUT you are correct in the pure sense.

A lot of newbies get confused on this point. zg

If you can't tell me what your EV is for that many hours, what risk your 1000 unit roll is being subjected to and how expected finishing 59 units down, actually more than that if you compare it to EV, in that many hours is, I'd work on that.

Day 5 (75 mins) - Session Bankroll £350

Very good day, happy with my play and finally had the courage to split tens! Got a 10 on each vs dealer 6. draws an 8 for 14 and then a beautiful jack to bust him. £60 quid. Won a few double downs at a high count so quite a lot a profit today, still behind :flame:

Profit = +£220

Total Profit = -£75

I'm going to try wonging tomorrow, what count should I come in at and what should my bet be? Any suggestions??? :)

most people i would say wong in at +1, i personally wait until +2. if you play exclusive +1 and above you can probably double your initial bet and ramp slowly from there to something like 1-10. if you play +2 and above exclusively, you can probably quadruple your initial bet and use that as your new unit. again, ramp slowly for a spread of 1-10 or something. but beware, your optimal max bets in these cases won't be placed at something like +5 or +6, they will be at something like +15ish (which you might never see, or see very rarely).

Wong in at +1 and Wong out at +1. Flat bet at first until you get the hang of Wonging - if you're blatantly backcounting AND spreading, you'll get the tap pretty quickly. When you get sneakier at backcounting, then move up your Wong in limit to +2 and spread bigger.

if you do decide to play all, and your bankroll can handle it, try to spread bigger than 1-15 (5-75) to make it a little more worth your time.
