hello everyone! i am new to the blackjack strategy and have always thought it was random. however, i have been learning the basic strategy and have been trying it out online a little. we are going on a cruise in December and want to gamble a bit and thought blackjack would be fun. I dont really gamble mush at all, just for fun. Does anyone have any tips that i can use?

Not all blackjack games are the same. Find out the rules for your ship's casino:
1) How many decks? (Probably eight)
2) Does dealer stand on A6 or hit A6?
3) Are you allowed to double down after splitting?
4) When the dealer asks for insurance, you say NO!
Plug in the above info when you practice on this forum's trainer. Memorize the plays.
Go purchase the book, "Blackjack Bluebook II" by Fred Renzey.
Have fun! I took a Royal Caribbean cruise and won enough to pay for our pictures, excursions, and wife's shopping!
