Hi ,

Ive just taken up Blackjack. Ive learnt Basic Strategy , and recently played at a table for the first time on a $5 table while on holiday , and as I became more comfortable I started to count the cards ( Ace / 5 system ) .

I now want to move up a step...but not to Hi Low , or K. O . just yet.

Could any one give me advice regarding two methods that Ive read about...

a) Key count...4 , 5 = +1...10 = -1....black ace = -1

and

b) Proportion count ( counting the 10s and pictures in each hand ).

Id be interested in any views , and any figures regadring success rates , bet spreads etc.

I enjoy the site and read it with interest ,

Thanks in anticipation...

NO, your stair steps are not good.
Go directly to KO, HiLo, R7, or KISS-3 and don't look back. zg
