Other Authors Basic Strategy

I just finished reading a BJ book by John Patrick who uses a different BS.

Does anyone have any opinions on his book or strategies?

Ken could you comment on this?

Following his strategy will triple the house edge, so if you want to loose 3x faster use his strategies. Also, if you believe in hunches and luck stuff, you can use his strategies.

If you believe in mathematically proven methods that really works, never listen to this guy.

Basically, John Patrick is a well known dummy system seller. What his books discuss are baseless progression betting systems that will not win you a dime in the long run. Don't use them!

I bought one of his books a couple of years ago and started reading it.
Right away I began to doubt the soundness of what I'd done because so much of what he wrote seemed to differ significantly from what I read elsewhere. I stopped reading the book and haven't looked at it again.

Now, after reading these posts, I did what I should have done 18 months ago: I've thrown the book in the trash.
