They haven't opened up the bj yet.
I know.

I was merely implying it is quite foolish to steer players away from a place where we don't know what the game will be like.

Real players don't care about things like ambience and smoke, you make it sound like that's reason to stay away.

Well I can't speak for other people, but I value my health more than the quality of the game. After all, if you can't enjoy the environment you're in, then there really is no point to be playing.

Pretty sure that schedule is for soft openings. Didn't see "test" but all proceeds from the games are donated to charity, probably PC's 401 k's

If approval is given after the test period, O’Toole says casinos can go live with table games two days later after allowing for one "down day" to evaluate the test including meetings of PGCB and casino personnel to discuss the results of the test period

Apparently the Mohegans of Connecticut are running at least one of these stores — so that is one we can forget about.
Probably true but if my memory serves me correct, don't they have LS and 6 deck S17 games at their CT property?

True, but I hear MS only gives 2/3 pen on their 6-deck games. Moreover, they do not permit splitting of 10s.

6 decks with L.S. is available at both Conn. casinos.

Yes, pen' is horrid at Mohegan Sun but it is very playable
at Foxwoods where 6 deckers often have $50 minimums.

The e.v. on these games is a pleasant -.33% and -.36%

Stay away from Hollywood Casino in Grantville. The place is a total dump and is the smokiest joint you will ever be in.
Thunder, no offense, but Hollywood at Penn National is NOT a dump. Smoky, yes. Wynn Las Vegas, no. But the place is only a few years old, decent facility, great track grandstands, and nice sportsbar. And I have no personal stake in saying that.

Smoke sucks, sure, but not the smokiest place. A dump would be Trump Plaza, the Plaza in LV, etc. as far as the condition of the place. Game rules, yet to be seen.

good luck :joker:

Does anyone happen to know what the table limits will be like for Harrah's Chester? Do you you think they will have more than one baccarat table? possibly a $10 table? I was hoping that Delaware park would but they only have 1 table based on what I have found..and the min is usually 25. I don't understand why they would make the min bet so high when there probably is not a big demand for baccarat there, well at least compared to the AC casinos. and I am guessing that there won't be a big demand for baccarat in chester so I hope they they make the limits a little lower.

I think The Rivers (in Pittsburgh) and The Meadows (in suburban Pittsburgh) are the two nicest casinos I ever been to, except Wynn, especially the latter. Before tables games open, they have a small area designated for smokers to play slot machines, so the air is the freshest of all casinos. Even now they allow the table game players to smoke, you still hardly smell there is smoke in the air. However, the penetration for BJ is 75% in the Meadows compared to almost 90% in the Rivers.
