Pit Boss 11 hour shift

Has anyone else come across a situation where the pit boss has a longer shift than the normal 8 hour shift? I was wondering if this was abnormal a casino I played at the pit boss had a 11 hour shift.

Perhaps they were short-handed,or he might be pulling a few longer shifts in order to bild up some comp time. Any myraid of reasons.....

Pit Boss Shifts

I have seen several that have shifts longer. I have seen 12 hour shifts before.

Having longer shifts scews up trying to avoid seeing a certain PB.
