Can you explain me please what this means "RES Random Ejection Shuffler". I have never read what this is. Thank you.
RES is playable UNLESS labeled "hand-held multi-deck" or listed in CBJN as 'Fak1' or 'Fak2'. zg

I'm comped for both so I do use them on occasion. But I just don't travel enough anymore to make an honest comparison on content. Obviously I prefer TJ on functionality since it interfaces with my software:) But that's hardly objective. I'm not the right person to ask.

I definetely like all optins on TJ, I just need current conditios because I have to start travel a lot to play BJ and traveling is expensive for me. I have only small bankroll, so I am mostly looking for $5 min tables and small edge on top.
Just so you know Jones you won't be making much profit, maybe even losing money, if you have to start travelling just to play $5 tables. You won't be making enough /hr to cover the food, hotels, and transportation. Even with some comps it would definitely be a grind.

I know that my bankroll is really small. I am planning to spread $5 to $50 and hope for luck (math). I have to drive, find cupon's for motels and not to eat in expensive restarants. Start is hard, but I know I am gona make it. If not now I'll save same money and I'start in couple of moths again. I apreciate any comments and help. I know that there is a lot to laern. More I read about BJ more question I have. Thank you.

CBJN vs.TJ

Just get one issue current and tell us if the Florida info needs serious updating. zg
I have just checked CBJN January 2006 and it is definitelly more updated in Florida and Mississippi than TJ. It would need update also in Florida. I may have 5 new updates.
But I realize who would play in Florida, cruises are very time consuming.

What you said here is absolutelly true. I am back from my trip and my profit is $25. I drove 1500 miles, played almost 70 hours. I got free food every day, but had to pay hotels and gas. What I won covered just expenses. I did not have any troubles counting and using indexes, but over all it was very rought. I am very tired from sitting at tables, smoking people and driving between casinos. Once I was insulted from experience BJ player??? that hitting 12 agains 6 is very stupid. But the count was -2. I think that did it right. Index for 12 agains 6 is 0 isn't i?. I won that hand, but he lost. Next time I have to spread more than $5 to $50, to have same profit. I am going to learn more indexes than I use now(-1 to 6), read books and practice and try it again. I am very confident with Hi-lo now. Should I switch to more advance system or stick to Hi-lo?

Hi-lo

Hi-Lo is a very good system for shoe games in particular. If you already good at it, I would focus on adding more indexes to your chart and try to avoid negative count shoes....

I downloaded January's CBJN and it was dead on for Atlantic City Casinos. I was there about 3 weeks ago, and the rules I encountered at each casino matched EXACTLY with what was reported in CBJN.

CBJN is the ony Blackjack news letter I have ever used; it really seems to be thorough, and up to date, at least for AC and Vegas. It's a big help weeding through bad odds and gives info on individual Casino conditions (i. e. lots of heat, photo recognition used, uses computer evaluation software, etc.)

I never tryed any other BJ conditions newsletter, but I do reccommend CBJN, as I have found it much easier on my feet!

TJ has NOT lived up to its promise. CBJN is generally considered to be superior. IF CBJN is not up to date in Florida, maybe I can get you a remuneration if you update it accordingly. zg

Do you think if I offered information for casinos in Alberta, a province in Canada, I could get a free issue? I want to make a trip down to the states soon and would like to get some info on the casinos before I go and obviously I'd rather do it for free!

There are 5 casinos in my city and somewhere between 6-8 in the rest of the province. I won't have time to go to any of the other casinos in Alberta other than the ones in my city till March though.
