mostly only six decks. however when i first started counting i tyed into some eight deck shoes and thought they were six deck :joker:
i'd probably be a lost little lamb if i were fortunate enough to have single deck and two deck games available.

In NY,the only local options are eight deck or one place with 6 decks. Rather than play them,I save my money and fly to Vegas every 6-8 weeks. It cost no more than making weekly trips to AC,and I prefer the DD shoe games out there much more.
There is no reason to accept shitty games just because they are the only ones offered locally.

in my area i play mostly 1 deck games in Reno. Only play 6 deck if wife or friends drag me to an indian casino. with my small bankroll i much prefer the 1 deck games needless to say.

decks question.

I play 8d because it's what is around the area. Unfortunatly I have neither the bankroll or time to pursue better games elsewhere. I have played DD deck in Vegas when I go and love them but it's a different game than I'm use to. I would love to have better games in the area but I don't see that happening. blackchipjim

that doesnt exist anymore.. no casino would offer a game with a .15% house edge
I think what you mean is -.15%.
...remember 'em like it was yesterday.

my local joint, Casino Arizona could offer games like that and still make plenty.
the players are so lousy, they play to hunches and dont know very much about bs. besides the overbetting players trying to make back their losses.

DOA and DAS on a single deck game? Wow, rare as a hen's tooth.

But Casino Arizona is a special case anyway, since it's an impregnable fortress of advantage-play countermeasures.

6 decks is not effective enough
1 deck seems like it's too obvious being a card counter

I play two decks, but I rather play three decks if Reno have any for offer because it should get way less heat than single and double decks but are alot more effective than 6 decks

Please explain the logic behind your thoughts concerning "no reason to accept shitty games just because they are the only ones offered locally."

NYC to Vegas....Approx. $200 (3 Day/2 Night Trip)
Hotel 100 night
Rental/Trans 100
Travel Days ?

I believe most participants in group can't afford to jump off to Vegas Monthly. It is what it is Shaddrock, and but for most of us it's someone else's world and we live in it. Of course, there are acceptions.
