Return from Vegas

I haven't been able to make a trip to play blackjack since early December, so it's been a long, dry spell.

Portable jobs have their good and bad points, one of the bad points being that you don't actually get "time off." And taking work to Vegas sucks.

I'm hoping to get back there some time soon when I don't have to juggle so many things while trying to find time to play and when I can stay somewhere closer to better games. We stay at Caesar's because that's where the conference is, but that means everything close is a Harrah's property and I can't even begin to tell you how disgusted I am with Harrah's. I even tried to talk the woman who plans the conference into holding it at a different hotel next year. I hope they're getting an awesome deal on the conference facilities because the hotel is reaming the guests just like they ream the players in the casino.

I plan on spending my "down" time practicing counting some more because it may be several months before I can make another trip.

Happy playing, all!

If I recall, I don't think Caesar's 6D was that bad (its not the best either!).. I'm staying there next month for a bachelor party and I plan on kicking their asses.
