Hey all, I've only ever read one BJ book, "Play Blackjack like the Pros", by Kevin Blackwood. I was hoping to expand my reading further, and was wondering if anyone is aware of books specific to certain rules? I only have one Casino anywhere near me, 8 deck, H17, DOA, DAS, 3:2, Spilt to 3, No RSA, 80-90% pen. Which book would analyse playing under these condition the best?

If you want to analyse playing under those conditions then I suggest getting simulation software. As for books I would get "Blackjack Attack" by Don S. which will teach you the technical stuff behind the game.

I would check out CV software to do this. You can simulate a billion hands at those rules and get a great idea as to what to expect.

My suggestion

I like the series of soft-covered books called "The World's Greatest Blackjack Simulation" by John Auston

There are versions for K.O., Zen, Red Seven, etc. and they are quite inexpensive.

These are good for those wanting to quickly compare Win Rates, Standard Deviations,
Desirability Indices, Risks of Ruin, Optimal Bet Spreads, etc, for the count and
any common rule set and number of decks up to 8 decks.

Published by Arnold Snyder's RGE Publishing of Oakland California

I suggest contacting The Gambler's Book Shop:

Thank you guys. Yes I do use Casino Verite software, namely CV Blackjack and CV Data. I was just wanting to get into some reading material also. Thanks for the suggestions :)
