I am spending 3 nights at the Monte Carlo with the wife and toddler and will play a little cards. I have a small bank, maybe $500 so I plan to back count and wong in if I can here and there. For fun I thought I might drink a little and fool around on the Sahara $1 table if I can find a spot. How bad are the rules there? I do not really care if I get booted and may just play a 1-20 spread. I just want to have some fun and 100-200 up or down is no big deal for me as long as I have fun.

It's not a game you want to count or spread on. The rules are pathetic and penetration sux. It's strictly a game for beginners who would otherwise be playing slots or if you are looking for a cheap way to get free drinks..You'd be much better off playing the $3 El Cortez game, but you'll never get away with a 1-20 split.
