Side count of 7's ??

#1
OK, I play mostly DD with a single level count with side count of Aces using a half-deck true count.

The question:

How much more advantage can I get with an additional side count of 7's for that annoying 13,14 vs 10 question?

And how would I use the information?

Roughly a 6-1 spread.

I appreciate any info, Bruisedlee

Including a 7 side count would increase your playing efficiency by about 15%. you will need to adjust the count with the normal density of 7's, and compare to the index value of a multi-parameter table (you will need to find those tables or generate them yourself. You said you are using a level one count with an ace side count. I advise you to use hi-opt II with an ace side count, it is as powerful as adding a 7 side count to your Level I count but significantly easier

Before I worried about side counting sevens I would:

1. Switch to at least a level 2 count, if not level 3.

2. Learn all index plays from -6 to +10.
