Software and How to Use It?

What is everyone's opinions on the latest software? I have a couple year old version of verte on one of my computers but I am curious what the rest of you use. I have barely used the one I have due to my hate of computers and no motivation to really spend time learning to get the most of it. Is there a good book on this Subject?

I Recently have been playing only obviously good games so have not had a need really for software but I think I have been overstaying my welcome at a couple of spots (one almost rejected my checks play, the other berated the dealer for not cutting thicker when "he" plays) so I need to run some sims on different games and look elsewhere for a little.

Thanks.

If you don't like computer training...

try the drills in Blackjack Blueprint by Blaine.

I recently upgraded my CV software. It doesn't really
cost any more than Halo, Call of Duty, etc.

Currently, practicing with real cards is easier for me.
And carrying a deck of cards around is easy. A good
phone app would be useful. I should program it myself.

There are some okay apps out there for the iphone. You have to set them up manually which is a pain, but they are good for practice while stuck somewhere.

One is called 21 Teach Pro.

Thanks for the responses. FYI I don't need to practice just looking for something to run sims on and see what spread etc I need to use to beat certain games. I am looking at a couple games that aren't as good as the ones I like to play because I need to take a month or so off at my usual casino.

Thanks

You're talking...

CVCX for basic sims and bet ramps, etc.

I don't know of any books that spell all of this out,
since there are so many rules variables, etc. to print.
But QFITs software handles this well.

BJA3 has a lot of data in it, and QFITs book has a lot of graphs.
Maybe there's something in one of them.
