unbalanced bet spread

hi there folks,

I currently use the red seven count with only 6 strategy changes, (80% of all counting gains)
I have just started using casino verite to simulate trips to the casino i use, rules;6 decks, no dealer hole card, s17,das, double 9,10,11 only, 80% pen.
I have got basic strategy down cold, the count is no problam(well in my house on laptop anyway,haha), memorized strategy changes no bother,

My bet spread is 1-8 (£3-£24)
I start my count at start of the shoe -12
my bets go rc < 0 =1 unit
0 -5 = 2 units
6- 7 = 3 units
8-11 = 4 units
>=12 = 8 units

How do i go about increasing my bet spread to say 1-16???
I know when i reach the pivot '0' that my advantage is approx 0.5%, and obviously increases as the count climbs beyond that, the reason i am wanting to increase my bet spread is because there are only 3 tables at the casino i go to, so wonging in/out is not practical, i know from what i have read that shoe games are quite hard to beat, not being able to wong in/out hurts but they deal 5 out of the 6 decks(80% pen) and am pretty sure i could get away with a big bet spread.

i was thinking of something like this

r/c
<0 = 1 unit
0 =2 units
2 =4units
4 =6 units
6 =8units
8 =10units
10=12 units
12= 14units
>=15= 16 units

is this spread too aggressive?? i think i will get away with it, just want to know your views on it???

i am of the view that if you have the advantage you can just bet more and look forward to the long run, is this the correct way to think?, obviously i would take into consideration the possiblity of over betting bankroll and adjust it according to my big bets.

any comments would be a help

You bet to kelly criterion or (more safely) a fraction of it.

This means if each count value is an extra 0.5% then your bets should stagger up in units appropriately.

0 @ -%
0 @ 0%
1 @ 0.5%
2 @ 1%
3 @ 1.5%

You can multiply your bets by any scaler as long as they stay linearly related so

0 @ 0%
2 @ 0.5%
4 @ 1%
6 @ 1.5%

Keep in mind that a minimum bankroll would be 200 units for the first one and 400 units for the second one. And that absolute kelly minimum. A sane bank roll would be 10 times that or more.
