I have been playing blackjack for 5 years now and when I am not playing I
still like to go down to the tables and watch others play. But for NEW people that come to this board, remember one thing: ITS ALL ABOUT LUCK!..
It doesnt matter what you use as your "medicine" ie: card counting, shuffle tracking, negative progressions(martingale), positive progressions, rubbing on a bible while playing at the table, etc etc...the bottom line is this:
YOU CAN STILL LOSE!!
AND LOSE BIG!!
Like I said , here at casino Arizona we have had the BEST shuffle trackers come in and TRY to beat the house only to have to snot kicked out of them and not to mention their ENTIRE bankroll LOST.
We have had the BEST Card counters fly in from vegas and california. They come in to our casino and within 12 shoes(four hours of play, LOSE OVER $8000-$10,000. Just because the count was high and they started to max bet ---- getting twenty for three hands in a row and yet LOSING to dealer getting a blackjack or making a twenty one!!!..All this happened on a $25 min 500 max table. $500 is Max bet in the state of arizona.I STOOD there and watched three hours of this massacre.
Yes I have legs of steel, when it comes to watching OTHERS play blackjack. I can stand there for hours.Players betting max bet ($500) have asked me to back away from the table. Yet even when I do back ten yards away I can still see the card that the dealer has and I can still see the dealers arms take $500 bet after $500 bet out of the circle back into the chip tray. ALL this while the count was +8,+10,+14.
I dont know why the casino doesnt hire me as their "cooler". I would make an excellent one.
Dont get me wrong- Progressions are no good in the LONG run either. In fact, they are just as damaging as the bets keep getting higher and higher and the cards somehow "seem" to get worse on your side of the table..
Nope- the bottom line is _
ITS ALL LUCK!!..All a player can do is stick to basic strategy and hope they
have the sense to leave the table when they are up.
OR if they have "too many" losing sessions, have the sense to quit the game entirely or just play for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY once or twice per year.
Which is what I have chosen to do..Yes I had "too many" losing sessions to count.
There is no way to beat this game EVERY TIME!!.. But if you LIMIT the number of times that you play to a couple times a year, your losing sessions will only be a couple times a year at most...
