How many of you can say truthfully that you have paid taxes on your BJ income without a W2 being issued from the casino ?

1. Yes I am a good American and have paid my taxes.

2. No I have not and never will without a W2.

I'm not exactly a "flag waver"

But I do pay all my taxes and always have. I have a good moral compass and I have always tried lived my life with integrity.

I am sure you pay all your taxes and are of good moral character. But the point I am trying to establish is that table games players (BJ) will not pay taxes on their own without a W2 issued. If you have paid taxes how did you handle your state tax. Living in one state and earning money in another state?I also pay all my tazes but when it comes to BJ, my rule of thumb is no W2 no Taxie for you!

You do realize that half of this statement can not be true, don't you?

Either you pay the taxes you owe,or you don't.The lack of a W2 doesn't affect your tax obligation in the least.

Yes it does if I don't declare.

It's amazing what people can and do believe!

So these guys board your ship and take all your gold and silver. They say "it's ok because we're not pirates,we're buccaneers" (working for the King)
As their ship sails off into the sunset I sure feel alot better knowing they're not pirates. Yeah right.

So far we have 4 people who pay taxes on their blackjack winnings. Could any of you tell me how you handle the state issue. I was wondering if it generates multiple state tax returns since you live in one state (New York) and maybe won some money in New Jersey where their is a state tax. No state tax for Nevada. What happens?

That hip national bank sounds like a sound institution to me.
Yeah, there are two branches right near me. There are no fees and transfers are very simple.

If your idea of being a good American is to be a dick, you are succeeding.
Do you do your own taxes? If so,thats the problem right there.Unless you are a wage slave and your only income derives for a weekly paycheck, you should be having a professional do your taxes. One that actually knows what he is doing, and doesn't count on total strangers for tax advice.
We get it. You don't pay taxes on your winnings and think its okay.
