But he already did.
He bets $25 a pop. When he loses,he simply doubles his bets until he wins.
As he only doubles his bets after losses- obviously he managed 1,000 winning hands.
I'm sure he would have won even more if he didn't hit on 17s sometimes in order to help the table out when he knew a 10 was coming
