That 6 deck table is a marginal game that is deployed strictly as a "Counter Catcher"
idk if you are talking about me, but I wasn't playing 6D, nor was I aware that there was one. I guess it was in the high roller area?

I thought that I had already responded to this post, but perhaps I didn't.
In any case, the sole 6 decker is a marginal $100 minimum game that T.S. uses as a "Counter Catcher".

S17 DAS DA2 1.5-2.0 decks cut off The House edge e.v. is .41

request for proof

I certainly respect the poster's "request for proof"

Proof is hard to come by when someone needs to "protect their sources", (not unlike an investigative journalist), does.

I will say this much: While counting cards (elsewhere) I briefly shared a BJ table with a young floorman from Turning Stone - who confirmed for me (away from the table) what I had suspected.

He despised Turning Stone's high level of Card Counter paranoia. We chatted over lunch. Once we noticed each other "playing to the count" it would have been foolish for us BOTH to continue at the same table.

I couldn't disagree with you more about the Turning Stone. Although I don't frequent the place often, it has been quite the opposite of a counters trap. More specifically, this certain venue has done almost everything wrong in the way of stopping or catching advantage players. Certain things they have done in the past amazes me how more AP's didn't flood the place and burn it down. Although they have smartened up to a degree, they still leave themselves wide open to anyone in tune with taking advantage. Thats about all I will say about that on a public forum. I certainly hope things I have said in the past about the Turning Stone didn't lead to changes that may have hurt others playing the advantages there.

As far as your source, as long the powers that be that run the games up there think they run a counter trap, by all means keep up what they're doing. AP's need these kind of traps.

Counter Trap

T.S.'s Two-Deckers, (at least at higher stakes), are Counter Trap and I am only one of many who have been 86'd from there.

Rather than argue the point, for the sake of completeness on this topic, I will take a moment to describe the worst Counter Trap in existence.

In Atlantic City, a little known factoid is that there is ONE casino that offers Late Surrender.

You are REQUIRED to ask for it IN ADVANCE.
You are told that there will be a delay. You wait around.
They deal the game to you -- if you use Late Surrender correctly, you are immediately Half-Shoed and marked as an Advantage Player.

The Casino is the (always struggling) Trump Marina.

I stand corrected as I did not read the post subject, just your last post in the thread. That being said I was talking about the regular floor blackjack at the Turning Stone. Also to be noted, the 2 deck games they have there are not very good, and as a professional I would not consider playing them to begin with, especially with the other advantages offered on the main floor. In my opinion you get what you deserve if you put yourself in a position to be tossed playing a lousy game under close scrutinity.

T. S.

The last time that I looked, (not recently) dealers were "Peeking" at T.S.

I imagine that this is what you are referring to:
