two hands verses one

I play in Atlantic City, and was curious if there is any advantage to playing two hands at $25.00 or one at $50.00

Suppose you are playing one on one with a dealer. Playing only one hand, you'll split the BJs 50-50. Playing two hands, you'll get 66.6% of the BJs. :eyepatch:

One hand would get 100% of his max bet on the table.
Two hands of 37.5 would get 75 on the table, or 150% of his max bet.

When the count gets well into your favour, you want to get more money on the table. From what I understand by splitting to two smaller hands you increase the money in play whilst also maintaining the same RoR.

Ahh if we can maintain the same ROR and have more money on the table then no doubt it is better :)

More opinions the better!

Many thanks guys

indicated for that ONE hand on each of TWO hands - in order to avoid the perils of ...

You should play two hands if you're playing in AC.
