Two man strategies

#1
Assume I have a friend who is 100% trustworthy and a good counter. We play together on occasion. What do you guys think are the best two man strategies. I know about combining bankrolls but that's about all I know. We generally play some single but mostly double deck games...very little in the way of shoes. I keep thinking there's got to be some good ways to take advantage of this situation that I'm just not thinking of.

Any help would be appreciated.

A question you must first ask yourself...Is heat going to be an issue if you end up winning a significant amount for that particular casino? You must establish your game plan as a single player and see where it stands in the casino you are planning to hit than you can move on to how you should go about your 2 player tactics.

Your best bet would be 2 have the 2 players with a combined bankroll playing separate tables to reach the long run much faster, but sometimes it is not that easy.

Have one guy sitting playing minimum, signalling to second guy when to wong in and wong out. You can get away with much bigger spreads this way, whilst keeping your ROR down (as long as your bankroll is big enough). Make sure the big player knows his BS and indices, not like my BP who was useless.

if your playing single and double deck games with spotters and a bp no wonder why he was useless!

For a two man team like yours i would suggest exactly what you already know. Combine your bankroll. As stated before you will reach the long run much quicker and variance will be lowered. Make sure your not at the same table or even the same casino if your playing a high stake game and just do what you normaly do.

What everyone else said. "Every many for himself" team. Just combine banks, both play separately at single deck, and split the wins.

Three partners play at the same table.
They act as if they are friends "out on the town".

Codes are used to transmit info.

The three take turns betting big when the count dictates such.
One at a time - in rotation - will keep "the eye" from making anyone as a Card Counter.

One person keeps the count for perfect bet-sizing and Insurance bets.
Hi-Lo has a .98 betting correlation.

Another player keeps several side counts.

Side Counting Aces, Sevens, Eights, and even Nines is not all that hard,
when that is all that is being tracked.
The Aces and the Sevens are the crucial cards to side-count.

The 3rd player on this mini-team provides perfect insurance decisions.
Such can easily be made by an appropriate specialized count
that determines when the % of TEN cards is at 34% or better.

With a 3 player bankroll and the combined brain-power described above, good things can happen.

Oh and by the way Flash, I could care less about the size of your font. Why is everyone in an uproar. Keep posting the size you want to.

I dont think you would even need to use codes. Ive seen buddies sittin at the same table telling and asking each other what to do many times. If you can handle milking a beer or two that would be even better. I think two people could pull it off too. Only problem is that when the count goes bad you both should leave. That would be odd to see both go to the bathroom at the same time. A better idea would prob be to act like you dont know each other, and play at your own tables, using a simple ko count, and wonging out at a -2.
