Update on Current Las Vegas Playing Conditions

#1
I'm not sure if anyone has stumbled upon this webpage or not, but this is a list of the current rules and blackjack offerings of the casinos in Las Vegas. Some of you may subscribe to Stanford Wong's "Current Blackjack News," but if you don't, check out this link.

However, some of the surveyed list shows conditions worse than a few months ago (I was out there in March). For example, Bellagio's Double Deck game used to have S17. One of my favorite places, the Golden Nugget, appears to keep getting worse by the day. Has anyone noticed playing conditions contradictory to this survey over the past few weeks?

Also, for anyone that's been there recently, any recommendations on casinos to visit for good playing conditions?

ZG, I'm curious. A while back I read about a counter who was backed off at the Wynn. He said they have some kind of microchip in their chips and they can track your bets with the count. Are counters still playing there?

Yes, still counting there. They have the rfid in the chips, but I haven't read that the chips are monitored in play - but they will be - its the best 2D game in town. zg

I guess it's no surprise that I had my best sessions at the Tez. The irony there was that everyone was hovering around the SD tables and the DD ones had for the most part, several open spots. I am not surprised to see Plaza so far down on the list. Pen sucked there. I guess my mistake was in not playing at LVC and Golden Spike. Oh well, I think we may be heading back out there over Labor Day weekend.

Don't bother with the Gold Spike. The pit is completely cluless and the game is decent, but you'll never get a seat. They only have 2 tables and they're always packed.

I've gotten good games at GSpike on all three shifts. Speaking of which, the last time Stork and I played there together it was graveyard and we were the only two players - one at each table - the Asian gal PB telling us she wished "All my players were like you!" zg
